Once the inquiry is completed and if the Internal Complaint Committee finds the person guilty, it is well
within its right to prescribe following actions:
a) Initiate action against the culprit in accordance with the service rules of the institute.
b) It can take actions like a warning, community service, withholding promotion, termination. etc.
c) It can deduct from the salary of respondent as compensation to be paid to aggrieved women.

The ICC is responsible for organizing awareness programs and training sessions for employees and students to ensure that they are informed about the prevention and prohibition of sexual harassment.
The committee is responsible for conducting a fair and impartial inquiry
into the complaints received.
So far, no cases of internal complain has been registered from students, staff or faculty members of IBM in the year 2024-25.
